The emergence of drug resistance is of critical importance to Sub-Saharan Africa and debate is rife. The issue of buying prescription drugs over the counter, the rampant use of Veterinary drugs without the supervision of a qualified Veterinarian is pushing the resistant to new and dangerous levels.
The hitherto "simple" infections are becoming harder and more complicated to treat; travel ban may just involve you being screened for bugs if they are found to be resistance you don't travel!!!!
